10月21日（火）開催 「国連デー記念イベント at Nagoya University　～ウェルビーイングの実現に向けて私たちができること～」

「国連デー」は、1945年10月24日に国連憲章が発効したことを記念して設けられた国連の記念日です。今年は名古屋大学の学生が主体となって、「ウェルビーイングの実現に向けて私たちができること」をテーマにイベントを開催します。ウェルビーイングとは個人の権利や自己実現が保障され、身体的、精神的、社会的に良好な状態にあることです。名古屋大学では、今年度より『「ウェルビーイングinアジア」実現のための女性リーダー育成プログラム』がスタートし、アジアのウェルビーイング実現に向けて動き始めました。ウェルビーイングのあり方について私たちと一緒に考えましょう！

UN Day marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the United Nations Charter. This year it will be celebrated at Nagoya University, in an event titled “UN Day at Nagoya University: Achieving Well-Being for All beyond 2015,” which we, Nagoya University students, play major roles in its planning and implementation. Well-being refers to the situation in which the rights and personal fulfillment of individuals are guaranteed and to a state characterized by good physical, mental, social, and economic conditions. As an initiative to improve well-being in Asia, Nagoya University has launched the Women Leaders Program to Promote Well-being in Asia starting this year. Let us come together and discover new ways to improve well-being for you, your community, and all in the world!
